Pass the Limes… please!

This weekend I was BLESSED to receive a package from Unity Stamps with 7 of the newly released CHA-W 2012 stamps. I was FLOORED when I saw the greatness inside and couldn’t wait to play with them. Today, I want to focus on one of my favorite from the bunch that can also be found on the Unity Stamp Co. site for sale.

After stamping the image on a few squares of cardstock and playing around for a bit with some Distress Ink Watercoloring {tutorial here}, I grabbed a few supplies from my stash and got to playing.

I picked up the sketch for these cards from Day 5 of the CPS Anniversary Challenge. This sketch is originally CPS #38 created by Tami Mayberry.

Although both cards start with a kraft cardstock base, the build up on both is a bit different. This card uses scraps from My Minds Eye Lime Twist and is accented with the newest member to my stash {prior to the stamps}, Enamel Accents by Ranger. LOVING THEM!

The next card that I created used some lovely Basic Grey Hello Luscious scraps and some great Honeydew Twine by The Twinery. Who knew this would be a GO-TO color for me? I’ve used it a lot lately!

After creating these cards, I must have had margaritas on the brain because hubby and I went out for dinner that night to Chili’s and I was craving one! I decided to try out the new Skinny Patron Margarita and it was OH SO YUMMY!
