#myFavFriday- Favorite Teacher Bag and Favorite Shoes

This week I am joining in on Vicky’s Linky Party to share my favorite teacher Bag! :)

Of course when I saw the Thirty One Organizing Utility Tote back in Summer 2011 being used by teachers, I had to score my own. I ordered a great Brown Dot one and had it monogrammed with Mrs. S.

Inside my tote is a File Crate from The Container Store that I had my hubby snag for me and it was only $7. Totally makes a HUGE difference with this bag and makes it work harder for me.

I carry a folder for each of my classes as well as an extra folder just for stuff that goes with my INBs. Most of the time you can also find at least one of my TE’s (we don’t have textbooks, these are personal) as well as both of my INBs (7th Grade Math and Resource Math) down inside and ready to go.

In the front two pockets are more Post It Notes as well as my Flair Markers in all colors! Love these to work in my INB with because they don’t bleed and last forever! :)

I LOVE the pockets on this thing! One of my side pockets holds my notepad where my to-do list is always kept as well as Post Its and my File Tabs for my INB.

The next side holds my label maker, a glue stick, some fun tape and a couple of random things.

The backside holds Index Cards, Map Pencils, my paperclip storage and some various pens.

So, that’s how I stay organized and ready to go each day. I literally set this down next to my desk and turn back and forth to it a million times a day. WIN, WIN!

Now, my favorite pair of shoes that I have been wearing lately are these AMAZING shoes from Hushpuppies! They are worth their weight in gold!

Some of you may know that two years ago I went through a lot of trouble with my feet and for the longest time I wasn’t able to wear “real shoes” but instead I was wearing New Balance sneakers with an orthotic support for my arch and that was when I wasn’t wearing one of the three boots I have been in. Yep, it was CRAZY! I have torn ligaments in my arch and an extra bone in my heel in one foot and therefore needed extra support.

I am now able to wear real shoes again (since the Spring) and am loving buying shoes again but have to have something that supports my entire foot and feels great after several hours. I will tell you I have put in 12-14 hours days with these shoes and my feet feel amazing afterwards! So much so that I went online (grabbed a 40% off coupon) and ordered the black pair as well. I can tell I will live in these shoes!

So, what’s your favorite bag or your favorite shoes to work in for long hours?

Thank you so much for linking up with your cute teacher bag! I am excited….I didn’t think anyone was going to link up! Yours is super cute and I love all the things you keep in it! As far as shoes go, I wear wedges most of the time because flats kill my heels. Your hush puppies are cute….I might have to try some of those. Well, thanks again and I will be back soon to heck out your blog…:)
