I Wuff You…

First, if you are looking for the “Green Eggs and Hambo” blog hop, jump on down to here. Make sure to come back and read this post when you are done! Thank ya!

Thursday my husband and I took a trip into town as I had a workshop to attend. We had the dogs and on our way home we stopped at Petsmart to weigh them and get dog food. As we were checking out we saw this Valentine’s rawhide that said “I Wuff You!” and I had an instant thought of using it on upcoming card.

Just so happens that we also stopped by Michael’s which was next door and they happened to have the Hero Art “I Love My Dog” clear stamp set on clearance for $5.99 so I snatched it up. When I sat down for Friday Fun Night I knew I wanted to use these stamps and create something that said “I Wuff You!”

I had printed out the Mojo Monday Sketch and had already stamped and colored the four dogs on cream cardstock with various Copic Markers. I LOVE how they just fit together and I could use these dogs as part of that challenge. Based on the colors that I had colored the dogs, I knew I could use up some of my Basic Grey Cappella stash on this card. Well that also qualified it for the Basic Grey “My Favorite Things” Challenge. {Love when I can combine challenges although I rarely do it.}

The blocks are all inked with Black Soot Distress Ink and then the dogs are popped up with foam tape. I did wrap the center area in brown twine before stamping on “I Wuff You!” with the Close to My Heart Trinity Alphabet My Acrylix.

Hope you like this card as much as I do. I will be updating my Etsy shop with more cards over the next few days. Don’t miss out on a great special I have going on right now, 15% off your order with coupon code LOVEME at checkout!
