You don’t know how much your comment has touched me. I love that you are working on helping your son more with his schooling. I actually have an Algebra 1 interactive notebook already created that is available here in my blog store but also in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. For Language Arts you might want to check out https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Interactive-Reading-Notebook-Fiction-and-Nonfiction-Mega-Bundle-1584303 from Tracee Orman and for Spanish you might want to check out https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Spanish-1-Set-1-Interactive-Notebooks-Bundle-1337687 from The Traveling Clasroom.

Please feel free to email me at any time.

]]>I absolutely LOVE washi tape and honestly my students use LESS of it then they do regular tape! They know that I will take it away in a heartbeat because of how precious it is to me. You can check out this blog post for how I have used it in the notebook for a few things. It is great to make “hinges” on things that you need multiples on top of each other but also to decorate things up.

So glad you have your kiddos in 4s!

]]>Can you tell me about Washi tape? How do the students use it, and how do you keep them from abusing it?

I have my students in groups of 4, and I’m going to begin assigning roles to them.

Again, thanks so much for all your great ideas,

Lisa

]]>I haven’t gone back to the classroom. I am working with many different teachers all over the United States and making things at all times in my house and in the classrooms of teachers I work with.
